Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how Thereforejohn Tree Service ("we" or "us") gathers, uses and passes along information when you browse thereforejohn.property, phone the number listed on the site or send in a form. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What Information We Gather

Some of it comes straight from you. When you call or fill out a form, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, location and details about your tree or yard.

Some of it is collected automatically while you use the site. That can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and when you visited. Calls to the number on this site may be tracked, and some may be recorded, to check quality and handle billing.

What We Do With It

We use your information to:

• Match you with an independent tree removal provider that works in your area
• Hand your request details to that provider so they can reach you and set up a visit
• Reply to your questions and messages
• See how people use this site and our phone lines
• Make the site and the service better
• Follow the law and guard against fraud or misuse

Who Else Sees It

Thereforejohn Tree Service is a referral service. When you ask for help, we pass your contact details and request to one or more independent providers or marketing partners so they can get in touch. Those providers are separate businesses, and they have their own privacy practices.

We may also share data with companies that help run the site and phone systems, such as hosting, analytics and call-tracking services. We may release information when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some laws count sharing data with marketing partners as a sale or a share. Where those laws apply, you may be able to opt out.

Cookies and Analytics

This site may use cookies and similar tools to see how visitors use it. You can control cookies in your browser settings. If you turn them off, some parts of the site may not work as well.

Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to see, fix or delete your personal information, or opt out of some sharing. To ask, email contact@thereforejohn.property. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request.

Keeping Data Safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Still, no way of sending or storing data is fully secure. We hold onto information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires.

Kids and Privacy

This site is not made for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Updates to This Policy

We may change this policy now and then. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
